Abenteuer extrem: Zur Antarktis im Kajak!New Zealand Antarctic Sea Kayak Expedition 2001 In January and February 2001, Graham, Marcus and Jonesy paddled their way into the history books by completing the first Sea Kayak traverse of the Antarctic Peninsula.
The boys paddled from Hope Bay at the northern tip of the Peninsula to beyond the Antarctic circle in the south - a journey of over 800km. Whilst this was not the first time sea kayaks had been used in Antarctic waters it was certainly the longest, boldest expedition in Antarctic in sea kayaks.
