München, Deutschlands heimliche Hauptstadt (Munich, Germany)Munich, the capital of Bavaria, is the "secret capital of Germany". But the Isar metropolis is also a city, where art and culture play an important part - you'll find many museums and stunning historical buildings. Nevertheless, Munich is also the "German beer capital" - every year around the end of September/beginning of October whole Munich is celebrating the biggest public festival in the world, the famous "Oktoberfest".
While being in Munich, Oli and I did some sightseeing in the Old Town, visited the Olympic Park, strolled a bit around the English Gardens, admired Nymphenburg Palace and of course, enjoyed the "Oktoberfest" :-) We stayed with two friends in their apartment - thanks Pami and Rainer for your hospitality!
