Where does aquamarine stone come from?

by User11409 | 05.07.2022 | Views: 8

The leading producer of Aquamarine Stone is Brazil followed by Burma, Australia, China, India, Kenya, Madagascar, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Aquamarine and Emeralds belong to the same family of Beryl but while emerald obtains its color from Chromium, Aquamarines obtain its color from iron impurities and are of excellent clarity and transparency while emeralds are hazy and inclusive. Deep saturated blue is the most desirable color for Aquamarines.
